Inclusive Exeter Presents Odissi Dance Classes

Inclusive Exeter, in collaboration with Pratiti Ghosh, a dancer, choreographer and performance artist with over 30 years of experience, is pleased to launch a series of Odissi Dance Classes in Exeter. These sessions offer a wonderful opportunity to explore a classical Indian dance form in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Participants of all skill levels are welcome, whether you are a complete beginner or have prior experience.

📅 Dates: 2nd, 16th, 23rd and 30th June (Further dates will be shared by the teacher during the sessions)
Time: 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm
📍 Venue: Southernhay URC Church, Exeter (EX1 1QD)
💷 Fee: £50 for four classes

 

Children’s and Young People’s Safety: 

Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult for the full duration of each session. The accompanying adult remains responsible for the child throughout the class.

 

Registration and Refund Policy:

    • Payment secures your place
    • These sessions are part of a taster programme, with the intention to continue subject to sufficient interest
    • Refunds can only be considered with at least one week’s notice
    • Refunds depend on maintaining enough participants to cover costs
    • These terms apply to the taster programme only. For future sessions, please contact the dance teacher directly

About the Instructor:

Pratiti Ghosh is an accomplished dancer, choreographer and researcher with a strong background in Odissi, one of the classical dance forms of India. Alongside her artistic practice, she is a postgraduate researcher at the University of Exeter, where her work explores the cultural and social dimensions of performing arts.

Her sessions offer a unique blend of artistic expression, cultural learning and inclusive practice, creating a welcoming space for participants of all backgrounds and abilities.
