About Us

Inclusive Exeter CIC brings together groups and individuals from diverse communities across the city of Exeter and beyond. We are a community-led organisation which holds and facilitates activities and events to improve relationships between communities and local and national services, fostering better integration and reduced isolation.

We recognise and celebrate diversity; we aim to build bridges between communities, enhancing community cohesion and removing negative perspectives. Through our activities we aim to improve health and wellbeing, build cross-cultural understanding and strengthen community relationships in Exeter and across Devon. We are committed to empowering individuals and groups to express and fulfil their needs as well as to achieve their ambitions.

We are set up as an infrastructural organisation to support grassroots Black and Minority Ethnic groups and individuals, assisting with the planning, organising and delivery of events, activities and training including helping them secure small funding.

We are always ready to undertake new, community-relevant tasks or projects, as agreed by our Board of Directors, for the benefit of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities and the wider community.

We are grateful for the support of Exeter City Council, Devon County Council, Devon Community Foundation, Citizens Advice Exeter, the National Lottery and the Phoenix Fund.
