Afghan Community Summer Picnic 2026
Inclusive Exeter was delighted to support the Afghan Community Exeter CIC in delivering their Summer Picnic 2026 as part of the Better Connections Project.
The event brought together families and community members for a day of food, games, social activities, and cultural celebration, creating opportunities for people to connect, build friendships, and strengthen community bonds. Activities included a community BBQ, volleyball, family games, and shared refreshments, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages.
Events like this play an important role in reducing social isolation, promoting wellbeing, and encouraging meaningful connections between people from different backgrounds across Exeter.
