About the Event
Bangla Cultural Fest 2026 is a community arts and cultural event celebrating the richness and diversity of Bengali heritage while creating opportunities for people from different communities to connect, share and celebrate together.
The evening will feature live music, dance performance, Bengali cultural displays, authentic cuisine and cultural stalls. We are also inviting different communities from across Exeter to showcase elements of their own cultures, helping to make the event a celebration of both Bengali heritage and Exeter’s wider cultural diversity.
Whether you are Bengali, already familiar with the culture, or simply curious to discover something new, everyone is welcome.
What to Expect
Expect an enjoyable evening filled with live music and singing, traditional dance, Bengali culture and heritage, cultural food, and colourful stalls.
It will also be an opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds, discover different traditions and enjoy an evening that celebrates the connections between cultures.
Celebrating Bengal, Connecting Cultures
For many Bangladeshis living in the UK, cultural celebrations provide an important way to stay connected with their heritage and share it with the wider community.
Our theme, “Celebrating Bengal, Connecting Cultures,” reflects our aim to do both: celebrate Bengali identity and create a welcoming space where cultures can meet.
Through music, dance, food, art and shared experiences, we hope the event will encourage cultural exchange, strengthen community connections and celebrate the diversity that makes Exeter such a welcoming place to live.
Everyone Is Welcome
This is an inclusive community event for families, friends and people of all backgrounds. You do not need to be Bengali or know anything about Bengali culture to attend.
